HOW DOES IT WORK?

Gravity Feed on a FlowSell™ FlowShelf

This is an open metal shelf frame with punched slots front and rear.

The shelf frame is designed to fit gondolas, wall stripping, racks or cabinets.

We can supply multi-angle brackets or the shelf frames can be fitted on existing brackets.

Shelf-T Dividers, nylon mouldings with a central upright rib and two base platforms with fine ribs are then fitted to the shelf frame. When two adjacent Dividers are placed parallel on the shelf frame the upright divider separates the products and the adjacent platforms with fine ribs gravity feed the products.

The Shelf-End Divider is an L- shaped moulding reversible for use on either the left or the right side of the shelf frame. A bottom hook on one end of the Divider locks under the frame to hold the Shelf-End Dividers upright. When the appropriate number of Shelf-T and Shelf-End Dividers are fitted to the shelf frame, we call the system a FlowShelf.

A clear acrylic Shelf Front locates in a recess at the front of the shelf frame to prevent product from falling out of the angled FlowShelf. The height of the Shelf Front should be at least one third the height of the tallest product on the shelf.

Gravity Feed on a FlowSell™ PullOut FlowShelf

The PullOut FlowShelf provides a means to easily rotate gravity fed stock that is loaded from the front. This system uses the same Shelf-T Dividers, Shelf-End Dividers and Shelf Fronts as the fixed FlowShelf. However, this shelf frame is fitted with special Cantilever PullOut Brackets that allow an angled shelf frame to be unlocked and pulled forward. A PullOut Bracket Lock secures the bracket to a gondola or wall stripping to prevent dislodgement when the shelf frame is lifted to open.

Force Feeding on a FlowShelf or PullOut FlowShelf using a Spring System

The Spring System is fitted between two Shelf-T Dividers to force feed narrow or unstable products. A Clock Spring housed in a Spring Driver forces product along a Spacer rod that runs from the back to the front of the shelf.
